I The Call to Freedom An invitation to reclaim the freedom with which we were created, through the awareness of serving God alone.
II Domains of Captivity and Their Causes Recognising invisible chains is the first step to freedom: the domains of captivity that surround our minds, hearts and societies.
III Our Shortcomings and Mistakes Before criticising others, we turn to ourselves: the shortcomings that make our path harder and the mistakes we keep repeating.
IV Methodology A patient, peaceful, consultation-based roadmap that runs from knowledge to action and from the individual to society.
V Our Aim Seeking the pleasure of God, we aim to contribute to a society of just, free and ethical individuals.
VI Definition The Islamic Movement is a peaceful community of thought and action, rooted in knowledge and ethics, that seeks to reflect tawhid across the whole of life.
VII Principles The core principles that light our way, guide our decisions and hold us together.

Who We Are

Belief is not enough — we choose revival.

The Islamic Movement is a community of volunteers who understand Islam as a call that guides the whole of life, placing knowledge, ethics and justice at the centre. We choose wisdom over violence, brotherhood over bigotry, and revival over resignation.

Tawhid

There is no god but God: the centre of our lives and the source of our freedom.

Knowledge

We learn as an act of worship and turn what we learn into action.

Justice

We uphold what is right, even against ourselves, and wrong no one.

Shura

We work through consultation and place collective wisdom above individual decisions.

Integrity

Not every road to the goal is lawful; the means must be as clean as the end.

Brotherhood

We make our differences an occasion to know and help one another, never for hostility.

Freedom begins within

Before we break the chains of the outside world, we must recognise the bonds we carry in our hearts.

Knowledge and action: the responsibility of knowing

Knowledge gains value to the degree that it becomes life. Knowledge without action is a burden; action without knowledge is a walk without a path.

Brotherhood is not a feeling but a responsibility

Brotherhood is not only a closeness we feel; it is a covenant that demands rights, sacrifice and solidarity.
